Steve McAloon

Steven McAloon hails from Wales in the United Kingdom where he spent his early years playing competitive soccer and golf. Amid all this sporting activity Steve graduated as a BSc Applied Biochemistry & Statistics from Bristol, England. For Steve's first job out of University he joined a French restaurant chain and worked both back of house front of house. This gave Steve the bug of working in hospitality. Having spent some time in management positions then transitioned into multi unit leadership running Dome Bistros & Costa Coffee locations in London, all Whitbread brands. From there Steve joined Elior, a large food contract organization, as a Regional Director running restaurant operations with client Tesco. After two years with Elior and having just married, Steve emigrated to the USA, Dalas, Texas where he joined Schlotzsky's/Focus Brands/Roark Capital working as a Franchise Consultant then Regional Franchise Director for seven years.

He then moved to sister brand Moe's Southwest Grill as Regional Vice President overseeing franchise operations in the north east and new markets. Steve also spent time leading a brand revitalization project and the launching of drive-thru's, helping to differentiate the concept for the next generation of consumers. After six years with Moe's Southwest Grill, Steve joined Aramark as Vice President where his team provided a wide variety of food solutions into business and industry locations from California to Texas. Steve also spent time in the retail tech gaming space as SVP with a startup company heading business activities in the USA.
